About

I shoot contemporary imagery that focuses on action sports culture and outdoors lifestyle, whether it’s mountain biking, snowboarding, bikepacking, trail running, I’ve done it all and have the medical history to prove it. Through intimate framing and a genuine connection with my subjects and subject matter I make images that make you want to go outside. Getting to work with great people is one my favourite things about photography, every day on a shoot is different and I love working through the challenges of scenarios to find the best solution.

Originally from the south coast of the UK but I’ve spent the last 10 years living in Austin, Texas. I was taught how to use a film camera and use a darkroom by my father who was an avid camera collector. From the beginning I used my camera to document my other obsession; cycling. I would shoot thousands of photos of my friends on their BMX bikes and this ignited a lifelong connection with photography.

I started out in the photo industry as an assistant and lighting director, working on editorial and large commercial projects working as 1st assistant to legendary American photographer Dan Winters, this gave me a wide skillset on a variety of production sizes. I bring this knowledge and expertise with lighting to my own work in studio and on location.

My clients and publications include: Ford, Rambler Sparkling Water, Gossamer Gear, American Photography, Ombraz Sunglasses, Garanimals, Etnies Shoes, DIG Magazine, Ride Magazine, Redline Bicycles.

Recently, I’ve returned to the UK to continue my photo career and raise my children.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch about your next project.
